A Man Called Otto presented to Congress in Washington DC
We are excited to share that SF Studios’ drama comedy A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks and produced by Hope Studios Fredrik Wikström Nicastro, was invited to be presented to members of Congress and members of staff at the House of Representatives in Washington DC on July 17-21. The event was organized by Creative Future, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to strengthen copyright and drives anti-piracy and other film industry related issues on Capitol Hill.
The panel discussion focused on the implementation of A Man Called Otto and was attended by three representatives from the film – Producer Fredrik Wikström Nicastro, Executive Producer Renée Wolfe and Actor Peter Lawson Jones – with an audience of 50 guests. The A Man Called Otto team also met with a few senators and congressmen to give them a greater understanding of the process of making a film and create a more personal and engaging dialogue. A Man Called Otto has been very successful in the US and globally and received praise from critics and audiences around the world.
